In high school, friends would come over for spaghetti nights and we would hang out with the whole family and laugh and goof off. The spaghetti wasn’t the only legendary comfort offered at those gatherings Just about every friend who has experienced our home tells me, “I don’t know. Your house just feels so home-y.” They tell me they are super comfortable and feel like they can really relax there. I think that Mom and Dad have worked really hard to create that feeling. When you visit us, you can get comfortable and make yourself at home. We have cultivated an environment of love and happiness and easy goingness(?) that is palpable in our home. Everyone contributes to it. To a new person, it can look like a whirlwind of craziness, but once they step in, they relax a little and become a part of the family. They get to bring their crazy without fear of judgment. It’s pretty cool. Let’s keep that up.
