Dance Like No One is Watching

My favorite memory of mom is when we went to the strawberry festival to see dad and his band play and the first song that they played mom was up and dancing with the music, not caring if anyone felt that that wasn’t cool for mom to go up there and have a good time. After a few songs some people began to join her and she grabbed me and led me step by step on how to dance like her. We even learned some dances from strangers who were watching us make fools of ourselves, which didn’t bother mom of course. I have the courage to be completely awkward and totally weird with her because she has a way of showing you that she’s not going to judge you for having fun.

Gift-giving

When I think of what to get mom for a present for any occasion my mind goes in all sorts of directions. I want nothing but the best for her like a diamond necklace or a trip to Europe or something crazy expensive like that but I current have 30 dollars in my purse with a huge, wallet busting collection of mostly expired gift cards. I would always have to resort to getting her something small for her. Thankfully I was saved by Madison this Christmas. She deserves the Europe trip and the diamond necklace for putting up with our pointless drama and awkward stages. This blog is something I would’ve never thought of to get you. You can thank David and Ashley because now you can share all of our stories of pointless drama and our awkward a stages. I love you.
